The Wholesale Bureau is responsible for the administration of New York State price schedules, brand label registrations and delinquent/credit statutes. In addition, the bureau provides answers and assistance to manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, attorneys and other interested parties concerning trade practice issues. Other responsibilities include the statewide issuance of various permits to Farm Wineries and Wineries.

Important Announcements to Wholesalers

Important Notice for Retailers & Wholesalers in Western New York - 10/25/2006

Due to the recent snowstorm in the western part of state, the Authority has, pursuant to Section 101-aa(3) of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law, extended the �notification date� for liquor and wine wholesalers to report retailers in areas effected by the storm who are delinquent in payment. For all retail licensees in the counties listed below, liquor and wine wholesalers are advised that the Monday, October 23, 2006, �notification date� has been extended until Thursday, October 26, 2006. Wholesalers who have already reported any of these retailers as delinquent should rescind such notification.

Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, Orleans, and Wyoming Counties

Please note that future requests for extensions of final payment and/or notification dates will be reviewed on a case by case basis and granted only upon a showing of exceptional circumstances.

Online Wholesale Delinquent Management System - Implemented April 11, 2005
On April 11, 2005 the State Liquor Authority (SLA) implemented its new Wholesale Delinquent Management System for use by all licensed Wholesalers and Manufacturers. Integrated with the existing Wholesale Delinquent Query pages, the delinquent management system provides Wholesalers and Manufacturers an online interface to add and remove delinquent license accounts to and from their individual delinquent credit accounts thereby eliminating the need to mail the Notice of Default and Notice of Payment forms to the SLA. Effective January 10, 2005 the Wholesale Delinquent List is being posted behind a secure interface for viewing by only licensed Wholesalers and Manufacturers.
In order to create your initial login profile, a principal of the license, or designee, will be required to login and validate information currently on file with the State Liquor Authority. Once logged in, the principal will have the ability to create administrator and user accounts under their serial number for use by designated staff.
